Twenty-five years building companies through the parts of the growth curve where most operators run out of tools. It started in enterprise software sales — seven years at LANDesk Software, where Chris ran the P&L as VP of Sales and General Manager before concluding that the problems worth solving lived one layer above the number he was responsible for.

He served as CEO at Corda Technology, the predecessor to Domo (NYSE: DOMO), leading the early growth of what became a widely recognized enterprise business intelligence platform. He later served as CEO at Complete Solar, scaling sales and marketing through a major residential solar growth phase, and as interim CEO at Blue Raven Solar, where he stabilized operations through a leadership transition and handed the company off to a permanent leader with the business intact.

Three CEO seats. Three industries. One finding that held across all of them: growth breaks at the handoff between strategy and execution. At Corda it was positioning — strong product, fractured go-to-market. At Complete Solar it was velocity — the market accelerated and the internal systems had not been built to capture it. At Blue Raven it was continuity — the growth system had to hold while leadership changed around it. The industry was different each time. The root cause was not.

Today Chris serves as Chief Compliance Officer and a Board Member at SunPower. He is a founding member of the Highland Alpine Chamber of Commerce. He has been an early operator on the use of AI inside the marketing function, not a theorist about it.

CMOGROW exists because the CEO seat makes visible something the CMO seat rarely does: most B2B companies at 10M to 50M do not have a strategy problem. They have an execution gap.
